Best Cap Alternative for Windows (2026)
Cap is a promising open-source screen recorder — but it's Mac-first, with Windows support still in beta. If you're on Windows and need click highlights, keystroke overlays, and a stable recording experience, ReplayFlow is the ready-made alternative.

- →Mac-first — Windows support is in beta with known limitations
- →No click highlights or keystroke overlays for QA workflows
- →Open-source means less predictable stability and update cadence
- →Pro features require a subscription, not a one-time payment
- →No smart zoom during recording
